Biogas in Poland: small scale, big potential
Applications and technologies
In Poland, the biogas market is still small compared to other European countries, with just over 180 agricultural plants. There is no single “best” technology — it all depends on the type of feedstock available. Plant sizes also vary: from large industrial facilities powered by production waste to small farms producing 250–500 kW. The key to success? Using local resources to avoid long and costly transport.
