METAplateforme: the innovative French platform on methanisation, biogas and agronomy
Research
Arvalis – an agricultural research organisation – and APESA – a technological centre serving the ecological transition – have established a technical platform, METAplateforme, dedicated to methanisation, in other words the natural fermentation of organic matter to produce biogas. By bringing together their experience, they have set up a competence centre that can deep dive into the technology, thanks to a plant built precisely in the Montardon area (southwest of France). Let’s find out more about the platform and the partnership in this interview
