Energy efficiency and cogeneration from biogas to retrieve the gap in competitiveness with foreign countries, due to the high cost of energy in Italy. This is the recipe of Menz & Gasser, the European leader in the production of single-portion jams , which, thanks to its biogas plant of 125 KWH, produces energy for about 450 KWH per year, using 100 thousand tons of sugary substances.
