Biochar and anaerobic digestion: An innovative project from UniLaSalle Rennes
Research
An interesting research project is underway at UniLaSalle Rennes, combining anaerobic digestion and biochar. Developed in collaboration with the Brittany Region, the project included laboratory tests that showed how adding biochar improves biomethane production yields. However, biochar availability in the region is still limited, mainly due to the low uptake of pyrolysis. Learn more in this interview.
