The Ecological Practices Decree funds several types of interventions. Among the supported measures are the adoption of innovative systems for digestate and soil management, incentives for the purchase of biomethane-powered tractors, and the development of consortium-based hubs for shared digestate treatment. The decree also includes actions to improve the efficiency of existing biogas plants that are not converted to biomethane. We explore this concrete push for agricultural biogas with Lorella Rossi from CIB – the Italian Biogas Consortium.
