By-products and meat processing waste: from refuse to resources for energy production. This enhancement is practiced at the Ospedaletto Lodigiano facility of Inalca, the meat supplier for restaurant chain such as Chef Express and Roadhouse . Thanks to a 1064 KW biogas plant, the facility produces electricity and heat for self-consumption and, at the same time, is able to reduce the amount of waste for landfill and CO2 emissions.
