When talking about technologies for storing electrical energy we often only think of electric batteries. But now there are new technologies such as the innovative Electrochaea, which can convert the hydrogen and CO2 contained in crude biogas into pure methane. The central role in the process is played by archaea, single-celled organisms belonging to the kingdom of archaebacteria which are also methanogens.
