The Farming For Future Foundation has decided to focus on research, entrusting Invernizzi AGRI Lab SDA Bocconi with a project aimed at analysing EU and national policies. The goal is to understand how these policies influence farms, transforming them from simple regulatory requirements, into concrete tools to promote sustainable growth, both from an environmental and economic point of view. In particular, the research focuses on one of the ten key actions of the Farming For Future programme: that relating to organic fertilisation, with the aim of enhancing digestate management as organic fertiliser in place of chemical fertiliser.
